Experience Desired:

  • Registered massage therapist (RMT) in Ontario, in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO).

  • Proficiency in a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, and sports massage.

  • Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and musculoskeletal conditions.

  • Ability to adapt massage treatments to meet the individual needs and preferences of clients.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to establish rapport with clients.

  • Experience working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals in a team environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide therapeutic massage treatments to clients to alleviate pain, reduce muscle tension, and promote relaxation.

  • Conduct thorough assessments to determine clients' needs, preferences, and contraindications for massage therapy.

  • Develop customized treatment plans based on clients' individual goals and health history.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including treatment notes and progress reports.

  • Educate clients on self-care techniques, including stretching and strengthening exercises, to enhance the benefits of massage therapy.

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the clinic to coordinate care and optimize client outcomes.

  • Actively participate in team meetings, in-house workshops, and continuing education activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
